They voted off Kellee and kept that pyscho Ann. Ann will be better for the drama, but Kellee was sweet. Now I can only root for Yaya (who was an early favorite.)

Time to go out and have some fun--seeing Thelma Jones at the Magnolia Restaurant & Lounge.

America's Next Top Model...the drama continues...

I was so wrong about Janice Dickenson being removed from the cast. She's on the judges panel with more Botox and collagen than in the store rooms of all the Beverly Hills doctors combined. She's so far gone (mentally, physically) that everyone ignores her. Like if they don't make eye contact they can all pretend she's not there. No one seems to be willing to address her directly. I know I wouldn't. She's scary. And looks like a drag queen. And wants to look like a drag queen.

Ya-Ya is still one of my top picks. Ann is crazy as a loon. Amanda is blind (and probably not even on the show anymore - I was too busy coming to New York to actually watch this weeks' episode.) Blind on a catwalk doesn't really fly.

Anyway, New York is amazing - so there's that.

I'm staying in icky Times Square (never again!) and spending most of my time in the Lower East Side, seeing bands, walking in rain (yay rain!) and drooling over the seemingly 100s of adorable boutiques that line the charming little streets. Today, I'm heading Upper West to see my new pal Cory. We're having a little brunch and then hitting the H&M. Which is a store we don't have in LA, but apparently, I need to go to. Can't wait!

Two nights ago, I got to reconnect with a couple old friends. One was Megan Joyce, former WEA co-worker, who is a freakin' Attorney now! The other was D'Arcy Jensen, who has a kickass Design Director job at Old Navy (accessories, yo!) and just got engaged to her boyfriend of 9 years. It was so great to see them both. D'Arcy and I went to Angel's Share, which David rightly described as the "Best Bar Ever." Had 4 Bellini cocktails each. I lost my itchy wool sweater and replaced it the following day with a soft and lovely one.

Going home tomorrow - liver is slight damaged, but I'll work it out! Can't wait to see my man & my hound.
